Consign or Buy

If you have an antique item you wish to sell or consign with us, please e-mail us (1) clear photographs of the object (including markings) (2) any documentation, and any background information you may have. We will evaluate whether it is appropriate for our showroom and then provide you with a preliminary retail price and details regarding our consignment commission rate or an offer to purchase.

Due to the volume of requests please allow up to one week for a response.

Prop and Event Rentals

We offer rentals of our antiques for special events, like weddings, home staging, and props for television, stage, print and movies. Our extensive inventory includes a wide variety of styles from the 18th century to mid century modern including furniture, lighting, accessories and architectural salvage.

We require a refundable deposit and a rental fee. The deposit shall be returned to the customer when the item is returned in its original condition. These fees do not include delivery or pick-up. We can request quotes and arrange delivery for you with a delivery company experienced in the handling of antiques. The rental item(s) must be insured in transit. Any rental or delivery invoices must be paid before pick-up. Some items considered too fragile or valuable may not be available for rent.

The renter provide us with a Certificate of Insurance listing Studio Modus, LLC as the loss payee on the rider and insurance coverage for the retail value of the rented items. The Certificate of Insurance should also state the amount of the renter's deductible. In the event of damage to the item during the rental period, Studio Modus shall be compensated for the full retail amount of the item prior to damage.
