PURCHASER RESPONSIBILITY

Our architectural antiques come with history and sometimes quirks. Because these pieces are salvaged and were made long before modern codes, they might not meet today’s safety or building standards. Please make sure you check with your architect, designer, tradesman, contractor, or other specialist before using them in a functional installation. The buyer accepts full responsibility for verifying suitability, ensuring safe installation, and complying with all applicable codes and regulations. Studio Modus, LLC, its consultants, or its referral partners, are not liable for any damages, misuse, or code violations arising from the use, or installation of these items.

ITEM CONDITION

We make no warranty of item condition, and due to our large volume of inventory, we do not list condition reports online or on our price tags. However, we are pleased to provide a detailed condition report, upon request, outlining any restorations, additions, or damage.

RESTORATIONS

When possible, we try to maintain our antiques in their original condition and attempt to limit restoration to cleaning. Further restoration or custom modifications are at the sole discretion of the client. We have a list of specialists. restorers and tradespeople that we are happy to refer when requested. Please note that these consultants are not employed by Studio Modus, LLC and we cannot be held accountable for the work that they do on behalf of the purchaser.
